Enrol in this course to explore knowledge and skills on how to lead teams and individuals, by modelling good practice and learning how to influence team performance and develop team cohesion. This program covers two nationally recognised units of competency from the 10993NAT Certificate IV in Dementia Practice:
BSBLDR411 Demonstrate Leadership in the Workplace
BSBLDR414 Lead Team Effectiveness
The program is delivered online across six weeks and covers the following topics:
- Part 1 – Leadership
- Part 2 – Organisational Management and Performance
- Part 3 – Leading Dementia Practice Improvement
- Part 4 – Promoting Team Effectiveness
- Part 5 – Team Communication
- Part 6 – Affecting Practice Change
This program is suitable for people working in aged care, health care and community services.
Eligible participants must be working with people living with dementia in a professional capacity to complete this program. To identify and ensure you have the right support to complete this nationally recognised program, applicants are required to complete pre-enrolment screening as part of the enrolment process.
As this is an online program, learning can happen from anywhere with an internet connection, using a desktop PC, laptop or tablet device. Participants must also have a computer camera, to engage in webinar sessions.
